Do All That Is In Your Heart

What is in your heart today?

What occupies your thoughts constantly?

What are your dreams and desires deep inside you?

Do you take the time to truly search your heart?

Maybe you want to start a business, or be in ministry, or go back to school.

Many of us wander around asking for God’s will for our life, and don’t realize that the desires He places in us, is a HUGE clue.

Whatever is in your heart, ask the Lord to confirm it to you.

God leads us by desires, but we have to submit our desires to Him.

Sometimes we have to allow Him to change our desires, but know He is always out for your good.

It says in the book of Psalms, as we delight ourselves in the Lord, He will give us the desires of our heart.  ~Psalm 37:4

That means He places desires within us, then brings them to pass so that we can live a fulfilled life here on earth.

I believe King David did this very thing.  He was known as a man after God’s own heart.  He submitted His heart to the Lord, and then Nathan came along and said, Yes Do All That Is In Your Heart. God is with you.

Things didn’t turn out quite as David intended, but God doesn’t steer a life that isn’t moving.

When David stepped out in faith, God came alongside and said, “I want you to get everything ready for your son to build my Temple”

You see….David wanted to build a Temple for God, but God had other plans for David.  His legacy was still going to come to pass, but it was going to be through His son.  That’s why it’s important to stay focused on our hearts desires but also submit them to God.

What’s in your heart each and everyday?

This is a sign and big clue to what God wants to accomplish through you.

Sometimes we have to get quiet and then will see how obvious the calling is on our life.

And trust me…. can’t tell you how much I spent wandering around waiting for God to do something big through me…. when in reality… He was already working through me.  By the desires He gives us, this is how He speaks and moves through us.

Do All That Is In Your Heart

“Do whatever you have in mind, for God is with you” ~1 Chronicles 17:2

What are you hearts desire?

Whatever is in your heart today, submit it to the Lord.  Trust that, He is out for your good and working behind the scenes on your behalf.  As you put faith and trust in Him, He will guide you in the life of victory He has in store for you!

And now take the time to read David’s prayer to the Lord.

18 Then King David went in and sat before the Lord, and he said:

“Who am I, Sovereign Lord, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?19 And as if this were not enough in your sight, Sovereign Lord, you have also spoken about the future of the house of your servant—and this decree, Sovereign Lord, is for a mere human!

20 “What more can David say to you? For you know your servant, Sovereign Lord. 21 For the sake of your word and according to your will, you have done this great thing and made it known to your servant.

22 “How great you are, Sovereign Lord! There is no one like you, and there is no God but you, as we have heard with our own ears. 23 And who is like your people Israel—the one nation on earth that God went out to redeem as a people for himself, and to make a name for himself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations and their gods from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt? 24 You have established your people Israel as your very own forever, and you, Lord, have become their God.

25 “And now, Lord God, keep forever the promise you have made concerning your servant and his house. Do as you promised, 26 so that your name will be great forever. Then people will say, ‘The Lord Almighty is God over Israel!’ And the house of your servant David will be established in your sight.

27 Lord Almighty, God of Israel, you have revealed this to your servant, saying, ‘I will build a house for you.’ So your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to you.28 Sovereign Lord, you are God! Your covenant is trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant. 29 Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, Sovereign Lord, have spoken, and with your blessing the house of your servant will be blessed forever.”

2 Samuel 7:18-29

Be like David!

Give thanks to the Lord and don’t hesitate to cry out and ASK for God to move on your behalf!

He is ready!

I believe we are in a supernatural season of breakthrough!

Receive the blessings He has for your life!

It’s right there in you 🙂

Believe!
